Rather than extracting dust, our systems suppress it — increasing its weight with microfog so it falls back onto the original material. Our installation at Luanshya was the first system of its kind in Zambia, achieving 112 ppm in dust concentration against a statutory allowance of 350 ppm, and saving an estimated $380,000 annually. It passed both mine safety and Bureau of Standards testing.

For bulk material offloading, we supply Master-Vac vacuum delivery units — a 22kW auxiliary offloading system that handles spillages, reroutes material on demand, and saves around 1 ton of ore daily that would otherwise be lost as sweepings. Larger E55 and E75 Master-Vac systems handle powder lime and concentrate offloading at rates up to 75 tons per hour.

Extractor fans in the conventional mining sizes — 610mm, 760mm and 1016mm — supplied to the required dB ratings, with spares and motor repair available. We also supply silencers to meet statutory noise output limits, especially useful on reconditioned units or old motors fitted with replacement fan blades.

Ventilation pipework and installation includes canvas ducting, reinforced spiral ducting, vent mesh, and Sealaduct joint-sealing material in a range of widths and pressure applications. For measuring and laboratory needs, we supply dust count and concentration measuring equipment, including Konimeters (KCM) and microscopes.

LOMA is a dynamic operation involved in fabrication, mechanical and civil works — from full plant demolition and re-installation, to workshop fabrication of components like the diverter chute we built for Mopani's concentrator, worth over $150,000.

We're a contracted supplier of Klambon coupling and pipe fittings, and manufacture steel pipes ranging from 9" to 40" at our workshop in Kitwe. We also machine and manufacture wire mesh and roller shutter doors, and repair and supply Montabert spares. All products are delivered on factory-to-you pricing, with no middlemen.

We supply Cutler Hammer electrical equipment alongside charging rods, electrical accessories and instrumentation for mining operations.

On the locomotive side, we have vast experience with both electrical and diesel locomotives, supplying full repair kits for engines and transmissions through our Goodman & Clayton agency. Our delivery on these items is what sets us apart — we can expedite spares efficiently, even to meet breakdown situations.

We supply and install Atlas Copco compressors, and repair and supply Montabert machinery and spares. Our hose crimping machine handles all sizes of hydraulic hose and fittings, for both light and heavy-duty earth-moving machines.

On the pneumatic side, we supply Applied Pneumatics' positive pressure delivery systems for powder transportation, complete pneumatic cylinder design adaptation, energy-saving air springs and shock solutions for vibration damping, and Schrader expansion & vibration bellows already widely used across Zambia.

Through Meshcape Industries (RSA) we supply and install all types of vibro screens, wire and polyurethane woven wire mesh, perforated material, and wire conveyor belts — currently supplying Konkola Copper Mines and Luanshya Mines, with negotiations under way to supply Ndola Lime.

Rounding out the range: laboratory and analytical chemicals through Anba Chemicals (Botswana & RSA); valves, pneumatic tools and lifting equipment through Connect Trade (RSA); office and business furniture through Cecil Nurse (RSA); and the Brady BMP71 portable label printer, with more than 400 label options for cutting material waste and printing crisp labels efficiently.
